Our commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant
Melton Borough Council is committed to supporting armed forces personnel and veterans as part of the Armed Forces Covenant. This scheme promotes understanding and raises awareness of the issues affecting Armed Forces personnel, veterans and their families, within our local community.
We want to help members of our community settle into the area quickly and with minimal upheaval. We also want to offer advice and support for armed forces personnel, veterans and their families already in the community.
In terms of employment support we offer a guaranteed interview scheme for armed forces personnel, veterans and spouses providing they meet the essential criteria for the post.
